Future Annual Meetings

NRECA has already selected the sites and dates for its 2012 and 2013 annual meetings.

Next year, the association returns to Southern California, where it last held an annual meeting in 2008. The 2012 gathering will be in sunny San Diego, Calif. Along with all of the events to keep you busy during the meeting, there is plenty to do during leisure time.

Among the many features of San Diego is Sea World, featuring Shamu the whale, and the world-famous San Diego Zoo, which has three giant pandas. There’s also the beach and plenty of world-class golf courses.

The dates for the 2012 annual meeting are March 1 through March 9.

In 2013, NRECA will return to New Orleans, which was the site of the 2009 annual meeting.

The home of Mardi Gras and the French Quarter, New Orleans has a lot to offer visitors, from beignets at Cafe Du Monde to Jackson Square, the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas and the National World War II Museum.

New Orleans will host NRECA’s 2013 annual meeting from Feb. 14 through Feb. 22.
